UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMMES

Introduction
The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering offers 6 accredited undergraduate programmes from Diploma to Bachelor Degree.
Our programmes are thoroughly designed to equip students with a comprehensive foundation in theoretical principles, complemented by the technical competencies and essential soft skills required to pursue a successful and fulfilling career in the engineering field.
The programmes opens a wide range of career pathways for graduates.
Graduates may pursue roles in technical, engineering, or managerial departments across various industries. Beyond traditional engineering functions such as design, development, and manufacturing, graduates are also sought after in areas including sales, marketing, project management, business administration, and quality assurance. Their strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities additionally position them well for careers outside the engineering sector.
Graduates may also choose to enter the academic or research field, serving as researchers in research institutions or lecturers in institutes of higher learning. Furthermore, the degree provides a solid foundation for postgraduate studies, enabling graduates to progress to a Master’s degree and subsequently to a PhD, whether at UiTM or other local and international institutions.
